The new policy allowing ICE to raid schools has caused attendance to drop. I read horrific headlines on the daily, but today this one felt the heaviest. All the kids in our neighborhoods matter.

Given the chasm between solid scholarship about the Bible and popular understandings of it, I don’t think the voices demanding we “put the Bible back in schools” know what they’re asking for.
