Slightly disappointed that the new Space Precinct Blu-Ray is AI-upscaled, might be Topaz Video AI. I recognise the AI upscaling patterns and the strange sharp straight lines from the blinds and mess-up of badges in this example.
It's not a bad upscale, just wish it was a completely new film scan. 😞

After the potential overheating cables, lack of PhysX 32bit compatability and now defective chips, I'm more and more glad I got my 4090 when I did.

The mantra "Survive until '25" had been spoken about in the VFX industry, which has been on its knees as of late. But I think most creative industries won't *start* to improve until at least '26. I do hope I'm wrong.
For the game industry, next-gen games consoles can't come soon enough.

I buy a fair amount of tech stuff from Aliexpress, and I'm constantly impressed at how fast things show up and how well packaged they are.
Often, it's faster and cheaper to order from there than things I order from within the UK. Crazy.
