I built a vacuformer, but sadly didn't have a good heating solution. I only got one decent pull, and even that had a ton of webbing. I was going to throw in the towel but the client, who is super, said he didn't care and I was crazy for thinking it wasn't good.

Finally sat down and made a custom modular piece for LEGO Rivendell so it would sit flush with the back of our dresser, instead of having it stick out or be awkwardly split. This was fun as heck.

I always loved Phillipa Rice's My Cardboard Life. Maybe more work but you don't have to be good at drawing to cut out shapes.
