President Trump's use of the term is very troubling and irresponsible. It underscores how lies and conspiracies about Jews remain deeply entrenched in our country. As Congress prepares to strip health insurance from millions of Americans it bears mentioning that members of Congress receive the most exclusive concierge medical care in the country. Walk in clinic in the Capitol. Appointments arranged to a curated group of outside specialists on a date and time convenient for the member. Prescriptions delivered. Tests scheduled. No one in the US has access to this kind of care. These privileged folks are voting to remove Medicaid from the nation’s most vulnerable people.
