It certainly looks really good but, outside of a brief moment halfway through, it failed to make me care about anything at all then had the gall to throw in the most DEI 4th wall break Ive ever seen

My experience is muddied by being a manga reader but my opinion on both is really about the same
The productions great and oguri is a fun protag but it lacks any of the actual punch the good series had. Thankfully it doesn't have the sol slop that drags the others seasons down but there's only so

Monumentally better. I would find it hard to believe this is in the same series if it wasn't for the state ordered idol sequence that's stupid and sucks ass at the end

as a horse racing fan I was disappointed by the inaccuracy of the show. If it was more realistic they would've shot silent Suzuka in the head with a 12 Guage
