Caught the OLDBOY remaster yesterday and two like 19/20 yo girls were in our seats. Upon learning this wasn’t their ticketed showing of THE MEG 2, they shrugged, scooted down, and just rode with it.
I saw two lives shatter and deepen in real time yesterday, is what I’m saying.

The only saving grace is that it steals SO MANY plot elements/set pieces from the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE franchise that you could probably turn it into a fun drinking game.
