In a WARN document, Meta listed 318 layoffs at or near its Menlo Park headquarters. The notice, which is generally required in the event of mass layoffs, is dated 10/22. Five office buildings are listed in the WARN, with the vast majority of the cuts centered at 1 Meta Way. Bay Area

Oakland Police Dept & FBI’s Art Crime Team are investigating a burglary. Shortly before 3:30am on 11/15, a suspect or suspects broke into the Oakland Museum’s off-site storage facility. They stole more than 1,000 items, including jewelry, Native American baskets & other artifacts. bay area
