took me an embarrassing amount of time into my adult life until I learned that Martha's Vineyard was not a beloved winery owned by Martha Stewart

think it's pretty clear with everything going on that we should support worker-owned publications - this is a good opportunity to try out an aftermath subscription
It’s Aftermath’s first birthday, so we’re having our first-ever birthday sale! From today through November 29, new subscribers can get a month of Aftermath for only $1. aftermath.site/products

hearing a probable bat in the roof again got me taping up all these gaps in the wood planks and making me feel like the dude in the horror short "Crevices" from the Dark Tales of Japan anthology movie that I watched in like middle school and apparently left an impression on me

One fun thing about having a relatively popular letterboxd review of A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding is that I get to see when folks start watching Christmas films which is kind of fascinating. September 21st is way too early and very Halloween-phobic and I don't approve!!!

lmao oh no is "oakie" going to be a nickname for all these oak-based names? Am I going to be fighting with a bunch of child Oaklynns for my screen name on new sites going forward?

I don't think we as a society appreciate DeBarge's "I Like It" (1982) enough

"happy Monday!" Might be one of my least favorite corporate phrases, even when it has a tongue-in-cheek energy

My old (2016?) Lenovo yoga finally died and looking at new windows laptops and I'm having trouble understanding why laptops look even more bland aesthetically than even back then? No wonder apple kills it in hardware sales

heard the sound of video game driving and in-game radio music from the other room and assumed Reese was playing some GTA. Nah it's Farming Simulator 22

what's the German word for dropping a lot of money on a litterbox enclosure and fearing you won't be able to coax your cat into using it?
