Tick and Allie doomed yuri. Allie is resting on the bed while Tick holds her hand as memories leave her body. This isn’t canon. But the balls are a lore concept I had. Basically, any conscious being, either in an organic or inorganic body, do not have direct access to their own memory. They can remember things and picture them as thoughts like humans do, but they cannot see them physically, let alone modify or delete them, etc. They have a strong conscious block that prevents them from accessing their memory directly. The only people who do have direct access are those who were designed to have that access; those who don’t have a conscious block hardcoded in their minds. This is only seen in a very very few amount of people, and such people were regarded highly for their abilities. Therefore, many will come to them for memory related affairs, from removing an embarrassing memory, or in this case, look back at one’s life story.

I decided to do a game jam for the very first time, but I had to start much later due to irl things. I had to spend time learning how to do game dev too so the deadline became tight. It’s like half baked in every way, but I’m glad that I finished something, even if it may be broken. (1/2)

(Btw shoutouts to an old irl friend for the name and my old teacher for his early designs. He should to be a female before he became a male. Happy pride) Lore: Pozie takes his work very seriously, especially when you request a memory removal, so he always asks and records your consent to the operation and saves it on film for you to keep. Although he can refuse your request if it’s something he’s not comfortable with. He likes to stay true to his schedule for his work-life balance, as the work can be stressful. So he and Etty tend to get along. Pozie enjoys the lightheartedness of Etty’s personality and work, so they hang out a lot whenever they can in a brotherhood relationship. Etty helps him with scheduling issues while Pozie gives him a place to stay whenever Etty needs to. He’s very protective of Etty, so please don’t bully the boi whenever Pozie is around, or else thank you. It’s rare for robots to resemble humans more closely than a conventional robotic design. These designs at the time were more costly to produce, as they were originally aimed at replicating the human body as closely as possible, especially the face. However, public disapproval, which is against uncanny human-looking robots entering society, led to a radical shift in their designs, such as TV heads instead of human faces for their simpler and more appealing design. Pozie is one of the few whose design is more conservative as it leans more towards human, with some clear differences. His eye is similar to a film projector’s lens, acting almost like a flashlight to indicate where he is looking. His hair is also made out of film compared to human hair, luckily. He says that he records whatever he looks at internally, and then prints it onto the film like a very fast-growing piece of hair. The wheels on his head store the empty film for him to print out, but it’s detachable whenever it’s not needed. What makes Pozie an interesting case compared to other robots is how he can access his own memory directly. He can save and remove his memory externally, and can restore old forgotten memories by recording the film he made back into his processors. Most other robots don’t have access to their memory processors, as they are programmed to instinctively stop themselves if they try to directly mess with it, as it could cause messy results. Pozie is one of the very few designed to access memory directly, so he makes it his line of work. He can restore seemingly forgotten memories or remove unfavorable ones. This led to many robots coming to him to “fix” their memory. Although Pozie gets very, very annoyed if you try to force him to make you forget very important things like people, or if you try to frame him as a manipulator for messing with people’s minds, so he tries to keep a low profile whenever he’s off hours.
