Here you have one of the individuals found in Motala (Kanaljorden), who lived 8000 years ago. He was also fair-skinned and blue eyed but with darker hair. He had his skull mounted on a stake in a big massacre (11 individuals but DNA from only 7). All fair skinned as far as I know

Here is a picture of what the oldest swede we know looks like Bredgårdsmannen from outside Ulricehamn. Blond, blueeyed and fairskinned, the DNA aligning with Ukrainian pastoralists (horse people and herders). His DNA fits with later findings

1) extrapolation from Denmark. The Danes kick ass in archeology. They have massive amounts of finds: skeletons, graves and they publish in Nature. The Danes were dark Western Hunter Gatherers. Swedes just presumed we came from there. But wrong

With the purchase came a note, it looked handwritten in several languages. I put a thin paper over it and shaded with a red pencil and the relief of the writing came out: it is handwritten

My Austrian husband needed an incense burner for Christmas because they have that there in their homes. So he got one. It came with some herb mixes.
