We got a new baby. He’s 8 weeks old and named Trinculo. Frodo needs reassurance that despite the new sibling I still love him.

We have a family of great horned owls in the neighbourhood and it’s been fun watching the three owlets grow up. My kids affectionately call them murder muppets.

It was a bit nippy with the -30C windchill on my walk today but the sun was calling me. That’s ice not fog on my glasses.
