noun, person in the street. I watch movies and ride a bicycle. I report #nycidling. https://letterboxd.com/streeter/
Yesterday in Joralemon St in Brooklyn. The white van (elderly driver whose kids need to take away his keys) smashed into and totaled a parked car, ramming it into the sidewalk. Thankfully nobody got hurt, although I would have, had I been 3-5 seconds slower. Plate had several speeding and red lights

Game of clones has a title on the top, vs others that do not.

Last time I counted surely over a decade ago I had well over 3,000 titles, lord knows what it’s up to now. They’re mostly in one room but unfortunately it has to spill over into my bookshelves in the living room.

Here’s @criterion.bsky.social have they gotten better? Most of the ones I have that aren’t in standard cases have the blank top, but thankfully some more recently do have the title like the Ranown western set. And I’ll even settle for what they put the Pasolini top spine.

Hey @severinfilms.bsky.social you can do it, why not on everything? 😭😭😭 my wallet is not nearly as limited as my shelf space.

These Shawscope box sets are even worse, with titles on only the most impractical sides. Don’t get me wrong, these sets rule but if you can print your @arrowvideo.bsky.social company logo on the side why not add the fucking title?!!

I’m trying to reorganize my bookshelves and @arrowvideo.bsky.social @severinfilms.bsky.social @criterion.bsky.social for the love of god, when putting out a box set would it kill you to print the title on the top??? Not everyone has a media basement, some of us live in apartments!

Lol, I have three of these, and they’re still on my shelves. My favorite has to be the original planet of the apes head.

If I won a mega power ball lottery and ended up with $400 million after taxes, I’d sink $399MM of it into making a sweeping sprawling star-studded historical desert epic 2-film 5 1/2 hour adaptation of Rankin Bass’ THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY and THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOOK II.

I wonder how many CEDs Clint Eastwood signed in his lifetime, and if this was the first one he set eyes on in nearly 40 years when briefly set in front of him at a private signing this year. But I’m very happy to have this on my wall now - my favorite movie and my favorite obscure home media format.

This CAPRA AT COLUMBIA set looks cool and I’m all for unique packaging but my shelf would have liked something a bit more practical
