Once again, the left lane is a passing lane. If you are cruising in the left lane and there are cars passing you on the right, you are in the wrong lane.

We have decided to implement #congestionpricing for pedestrians as well, to encourage people to get off our crowded sidewalks. It will cost $9 to walk in the CBTD, and an additional $5 will be assessed for groups taking up the whole sidewalk, tourists staring up instead of ahead, and sudden stops.

We know people are upset the Outdoor Dining Program has been shut down for the winter months, but it’s important to remember it will most likely come back year-round in the near future since our winters will continue getting warmer as our planet slowly dies. #brightside #optimist #climatechange #nyc

#NYC is proud to announce our beloved #SummerStreets program is expanding! Starting in 2025 on select weekends, subway service will be suspended to allow the CHUDs free access throughout the tunnels and sewers. Remember, the streets belong to the people but below them belongs to the #CHUDs! #mta
