I hiked the AT, rode the Tour Divide, and paddled the Mississippi. I spend the rest of my time trying to save democracy.
That's what's so baffling about the Pod Save bros. They barely even have their company account post here and they're paying someone for that. This platform is heavily skewed towards politically engaged lefties and they use it as the butt of their jokes.

I don't even know what to say about "Proponent" other than "wow".

If I was accused of being a bad journalist (and that was my job), I'd take extra care that my response didn't misuse words like "revolve".

Do we have final word on which units will be indexed to inflation yet?

If you get ones mixed with copper (red hue to them) then you only need 8 to get said free life. We should estimate the relative value of copper.

Is there a size requirement or are the 1/10 oz coins valid too?

Please keep posting these wins. They keep me going.

Does that mean Enola Holmes is cultural appropriation?

So happy for the people of Eugene!

The 2 pin versions should be what you need, but you need to have a NC (Normally Closed) type. The ones I see on Amazon don't say if they are NC or NO. Is there an LBS that sells them? You could check with a voltmeter.

His graph and numbers don't seem to match what he cites: www.bts.gov/content/aver... Went from 14.9 -> 23.0, but CAFE didn't change until 2010!

Maybe that's the AI assisted part?

Looked up his degrees because it seemed really smug and apparently it was in Soviet and Eastern European studies. 😆

Can you put something out countering the new left wing conspiracy about the TN-7 vote being stolen? They are pointing to a "31,000" vote jump after DDHQ said 99.6% was counted (they didn't show that). These people don't understand that that's estimated turnout, and the 31k trickled in for hours.

There are get-rich-quick type people pushing them as investments. They are cheap to build/run and they tell you to seek out undervalued property in high traffic areas. Then in 10 years when someone wants the land you can sell for a huge markup.

I almost want to start going on FB again just to start fights. If you see a road diet post, you could suggest complete intersection closure for a Quiet Streets program or tiny traffic circles!

The data swapping is what makes me the angriest. I even saw an RFS candidate doing it.

Have you considered a voluntary pledge for RFS candidates that centers around respect and rejects the shadiest practices? Call it the "Respect Pledge"

If you get enough people, maybe you could pressure others.

Around me they are just "lol, nope!", but that's with roads. The nearest bike path is barely within biking distance.

Anyway... I'm debating studded tires for my mountain bike. They are already pretty knobby, so I'm not sure it's worth it.

The important thing is that having them inside is perfectly fine.

She has showing poor judgement since Harris lost. My guess is that she reached out to some DC pundit losers that are giving her terrible advice as she gears up for a presidential campaign.

Pro-tip: The semi truck side has free air at every pump*. Just go when it isn't packed when trucks and you're good. Bring your own pressure gauge.

Fifa was concerned that the Republican Party was going to take their title for Most Corrupt Organization, so they resorted to drastic measures.

Have they been on a good pace to collect all the ones they need?

I'm in MI and seems like the threshold for snow days is much lower, and districts are more likely to cancel on predictions. I don't think they ever canceled on a prediction when I was growing up. Also, there are "cold days" now. I don't remember anyone having those before.
