Last Saturday. I attended a conference where the state representative I interned for as a 3L was speaking. That was the *1991* legislative session. Her infant son is now 34. She's still representing her district.

Okay, while acknowledging that this is completely bogus and batshit crazy, let's assume that it was actually true. In an actual legal sense, what is the proportional remedy for something like this? Bombing an entire country and killing thousands of people somehow seems disproportionate.

Unless he literally drops dead on camera he will be there for the duration. Too many Republicans have too much invested in the current "graft-o-rama". As Steve Bannon said, if the Democrats win, he and a lot of other people are going to jail.

His approval ratings are starting to drift into the 30s. Leaving aside the Constitutional prohibition, Trump's health means he will never be on a ballot again. At some point, Republican politicians are going to face a reality check. MTG is the canary in the Trump coal mine.

Does anyone really believe that architectural plans exist for this place? The number it is designed to accommodate fluctuates. The stupid AI drawings don't make sense. Will it be sprinklered? Will it still conceal the bunker? He's in a hurry, so he's going to start building before he has plans.

One of the big tasks of "constituent work" is assisting people who need help dealing with government agencies. How can you assist people if the government is closed and many agencies may be permanently shuttered?
