Florence + The Machine - Dance Fever (Complete Edition)
That name combined with my posting format makes it seem like I'm subtracting the album.
Really enjoyed the threads of the album. My first time listening to the group, and I'm surprised I haven't been exposed to them earlier.

Original when I first ran the Heavensward Remembrance quest, second as the alt tonight. Tyr's a Femroe now, and Micara has the old body.
Kind of heavy thinking of how different the person playing each character has become.

Rebecca Sugar - Spiral Bound
Short, sweet, and tender. Rebecca Sugar brings their iconic soft and cozy melodies in this pocket sized album, and it does not disappoint. Take a breath and indulge for 14 minutes with this gentle audio gift.

Magic Sword - Volume 1
Neat Dungeon Synth album from a decade ago. A very classic sound that fits comfortablly in that valley between 80's fantasy and video game chiptune. Lyricless, so makes for good writing music for me too.

Phoebe Bridgers - Punisher
I don't know if I'll do all 5 each week as I'm still recovering, but Punisher is a nice moody album to come back to the project with. Wonderfully melancholic, rough and brain soothing. The right mood to help me feel like me.

The Midnight - Endless Summer
Hitting another favorite so soon, but was in the mood. Synthwave wonders and dreamy albums, the Midnight scratchs a nice spot in my head no matter the album. Endless Summer was my intro to them and has the fondest spot in my heart.

Concerned Ape - Stardew Valley OST
Oh, revisiting the farm is a big album! Falling back into it after spending time in the Forbidden Lands recently. First time I've managed to reload a put aside save and haven't immediately started a new game.

George Hrab - Trebuchet
One of the musicians I meet through podcasting. An early adopter of the medium and still going these days. The album stats right where Geo expects you to meet him at, followed by a number of quirky, fun, and somtimes emotional ballads.

Infinite Third - Electronicalm
I like his music quite a lot. It's a splendid vibe of cool noise. Excellent writing music for when I'm doing writing bible or planning rpg stuff. Perfect for just zoning out if you need it. Highly recommended.

Nobuo Uematsu - Final Fantasy IV: Celtic Moon
Here's an interesting mix. Released back in the early 90's, this instrumental arrangement is such a fun take on music that's so familiar to me. Not too far off from the vibes much of the high fantasy that game gives.

Watsky - X Infinity
Ah, month 3, time to introduce another favorite. I love the rest of his work, but this one is such an awesome combination of tunes that plays perfectly in circle with itself. The Lovely Things Suite is such a perfect quasi-end cap to the whole thing.

Chaos Chaos - Commited to the Crime
Heard this band the way most folks I know have, and while I don't watch that show anymore, it did have some pretty wicked music here and there. The album's a solid brain worm, and interesting note, they're also on a Watsky album I'll share.

The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Another one of those "Always on when I was a young adult" albums. Especially "Do You Realize??". Weird head spaces and electronic brain pokes. A lot of nights of mixed up emotions.

The Birthday Massacre - Pins and Needles
Introduced to me when I was looking for a sort of "character soundtrack" to a TTRPG campaign, they've slowly crept more and more into my soundscapes. Who would have guessed, more vaguely dark themed Alt Rock.

Cabaret OST
Closing out the week with a classic soundtrack. There's a three minute segment in that film that's chilling. It was a reminder, a warning, back then. But that 53 year old film should serve as a reminder of the dangers come again.
Time is not a river, but it rhymes.

Placebo - Sleeping With Ghosts
Finally poking for recommendations, this is the first one I've stepped into. From @macaronstar.bsky.social
Their recommendation fit squarely with the era of music I seem to gel with. Nice moodiness that fits wonderfully into the year's list so far.

Ninja Sex Party - Under the Covers
I think a cover album counts for my "no greatest hits" rule. This is a splendid collection that Danny covers wonderfully. The Last Unicorn piece is a particular lovely cover. I wonder if I should pick through the individual albums at some point.

Hoobustank - They Sure Don't Make Basketball Shorts Like They Used To
Another staple of teenage listening, one of the first albums I got as a burned CD a lifetime ago. I'm fairly certain the mp3's I'm listening to right now come from that disc. Music from another time...

Nathaniel Chambers - Primordia OST
A lot of game music tracks fit into the category of "beautiful distorted noise." Primordia fits comfortable in that space, dragging you into the off putting dead lands of the fringe to the decay of Metropol. Great game, nerve itching soundscape.

Rush - Snakes and Arrows
Closing out the week with our first revisit (Protomen doesn't count!). This was my reintroduction after hearing only a little growing up. Friends got me the new album while loading me up with a lot of the old. Artificially generated nostalgia I suppose.

Gorillaz - Demon Days
Guess I'm in a music of my youth mood this week. Gorillaz was another staple of sound tracks that filled my ears for years. I've fallen off in the last decade. Another group to reconnect with. By the time this is all done, I'll have a nice list for revisit.

A Perfect Circle - Mer De Noms
Ah, more teenage/young adult malaise. Such lovely morose times listening to the sads and powerful. This one I listened to with everything else off, headphones on tight, some candles lit, and just vibed. Might give it another go in a minute.

Childish Gambino - Because the Internet
Took a few days off, but I knew I wanted to make sure I got this one in this week.
This was the first and only album of his I've listened to. Sunk a lot of time with it in my ears but never really followed up with others. I should fix that.
