For my upcoming game I vectorized a hand-drawn pre-war map with Inkscape. After adjusting the line thickness to my liking, I exported it as a png and run-length encoded it into ASCII. MAGA!

Another retro game I‘m working on has a lot of random numbers generated by rnd(N) - rnd(N/2). I wrote the code 44 years ago so don’t ask me why. Claude says it produces a triangular distribution. Interesting.

Version 1.0.2 moves Ammo Packs to the free version. Now everyone can fight to the death over limited resources! Also a few bug fixes and improvements to dead reckoning and path smoothing for network play.
