It's a winter wonderland in the Annapolis Valley!

For any Nova Scotian of a certain age who is nostalgic for the feeling of a really bad hangover and the taste of nasty cider someone is selling a vintage bottle (empty, thank goodness) of Chipman's Golden Glow on Kijiji.
The photo shows an old bottle of Chipman's Golden Glow which was a cider made in Nova Scotia in the 70s and 80s. It's for sale on Kijiji for $15. My post says: "For any Nova Scotian of a certain age who is nostalgic for the feeling of a really bad hangover and the taste of nasty cider someone is selling a vintage bottle (empty, thank goodness) of Chipman's Golden Glow on Kijiji."

The PC candidate in my riding is an unknown entity to me so I sent him an email with a couple of questions. Most of his response was expected however I was surprised that he didn't know the hours our ER is open. How do you fix something you don't know the details of?

An email to PC candidate David Bowlby asking, if he is elected, how he will impress upon Premier Tim Houston the severity of the emergency department situation in the constituency of Annapolis. For example, the emergency room at the hospital in Middleton won't take any actual emergencies because they are no longer equipped to. Also, the ER is only open 5 or 6 days per week for 6 hours per day. David Bowlby's response saying that he can see the positive changes in healthcare since Tim Houston has been in government. He states that right now 9700 patients from Bridgetown to Aylesford are being attached to doctors and that the ER at Middleton is open 6 days per week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. He says he will work with the Premier to bring more positivity to the area. My response to David Bowlby's email. I corrected his information about the hours the ER is open in Middleton. They are actually open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 5 or 6 days per week. I also pointed out that much of the recruitment of doctors in the area is due to the work done by the Mid Valley Region Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee. I mentioned that I need to know that the MLA representing our area will be representing the people and not just their party.
