I think the intermissions function absolutely perfectly in knockout mode. In Grand Prix, I thought I didn’t mind them at first, but they really started to grate on me eventually. I would have really liked to see knockout be the focus of the new open world feature and Grand Prix stay traditional

They really made an error in showcasing this as a vast single player experience that would satisfy everyone and then underdeveloping the open world so badly. I’m playing a ton of multiplayer but as someone who was really excited for that, I’m half expecting them to smooth all of this out
