Haji Wright's numbers at Coventry this season are hilarious, and exactly in line with what we've seen in this game

only touches the ball inside the penalty area, only shoots on goal when he touches the ball

why do anything else it's a simple game

No Koffi on the matchday squad again? Curious.

#EveryoneN: What a win for Nashville’s Boys in Jorts last night, 5-1 over Orlando City!

Others have covered the team’s mutiple great performances. A couple of notes on others:
—Tyler Boyd was on the bench but didn’t make an appearance. Both are good news. Keep Orlando’s ruffians away from him. 1/2

A quarter of the way through and Nashville SC has looked energetic and dangerous. Capable work at LB from Josh Bauer, playing out of position.

Jacob Shaffelburg is pacing the team with multiple runs into the final third, along with their only goal, to lead 1-0.

A late "thriller" for all the wrong reasons. Nashville came alive way too late for this one and they simply ran out of time.

You can't be a contender for the supporters shield and lose to one of the worst teams in the league. Heading to the Big Apple next...

Wasn’t able to watch live, but got to it later this evening. It’s unfortunate to have the unbeaten streak end on a bad mistake.

Honestly, if NSC had Jonny Perez tonight, this could have been a different result. There were opportunities, but energy and fluidity was missing up front.

Surprising to see Shaff and Qasem both in the lineup and no Muyl. To me, this is a “we are going to try to outscore Miami” lineup.

A little surprised at not seeing Walker, but as someone recently said, “In BJ we trust”

Nice piece on Super Sam Surridge!

Weymouth. Poole Town. Yeovil Town. Oldham Athletic.

MLS's leading scorer is not Lionel Messi or Luis Suarez or Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, but a quiet guy who cut his teeth on what you might call the Bovril circuit, in English soccer's heartland.

Meet Sam Surridge:

This team’s mental toughness is off the charts. Real “call the ambulance… but not for me” moment to take a potential beating and turn it into a beating for the other side.

Incredible game. The streak goes to 15 unbeaten as we look ahead to Messi & Co. in Fort Lauderdale Saturday.

He showed great skill on that right-footed outswinger down the left touch line that somehow curled around Surridge (standing just inside the line) and arced back into open space on the wing so perfectly that Brugman almost seemed startled, before starting what turned into a dangerous run. #EveryoneN

We have officially surpassed our points total from last year. 36 from 34 last year, 38 from 20 so far this year.

We also have 36 goals (39 last year) and 11 wins (9 in 2024).

Friendly reminder that this is our rebuilding year.

This time it's Mukhtar who hits the woodwork. Aside from the goal, Nashville have been the better team. They've deserved a goal here in the first half.
