Officially opened CHH’s newest 55-unit affordable housing building. It represents the best of what cities can do to address the housing crisis. #PassiveHouse standard family and single units replace an under-utilized municipal parking lot with #BikeShare & #Communoauto memberships for residents.

Very productive meetings today that my #FCM Board colleagues and I had with @karinagould.bsky.social @pamdamoff.bsky.social and Senator McBean discussing shared priorities to enable thriving communities for future generations: tackling homelessness, infrastructure, public safety and sustainability.

As a former Councillor, MP @matthewgreen.bsky.social truly understands cities deliver results for Canadians. As more face an affordability & cost of living crisis - cities need a fairer and more equitable share of existing federal/provincial tax dollars. #FCM #MunicipalGrowthFramework

In Ottawa for #FCM Board & Advocacy Days 2024 – a great opportunity bring municipal priorities to Parliament Hill. Affordable housing, reliable core infrastructure, public safety all contribute to thriving communities that foster belonging that cities & towns deliver.
