Hey look: 2nd Rounder at AFF 2025
What kind of wackadoo financial system is it that takes a downturn because of "uncertainty" from the government REOPENING?

Okay so it's not the Epstein Files, but pleasant surprise today. My bonkers horror / comedy feature Killer Tech went to 2nd round at AFF. (*Please clap)

CLEANER on HBO Max is 100x more entertaining than its logline implies. "When a group of violent radicals take hundreds of hostages at an energy company's annual gala, a window cleaner comes to the rescue."
Daisy Ridley is as ever an engaging and delightful lead. Give her all the movies.

Okay, #Companion is real good, horror friends. Jack Quaid may just be cornering the market on this particular guy. Def gonna be a rewatch soon. #horrorsky

After watching #FionaDourif come into her father Brad's world and kill it in the Child's Play / Chucky universe for years, it gave me a ridiculous amount of glee to see #BradDourif show up in her world as her dad on #ThePitt. I actually clapped when he popped up. I was alone.

I don't think my life savings can handle this much winning.

I don't know how I've missed reading Clive Barker's #BooksofBlood up to this point in my life but just finished Vol 1 and good golly can this man write. Luscious, kooky, like nothing else, deftly written. Hard recommend to any horror lit fan.

Holiday family watch tip: new stand up special on Netflix from #NateBargatze, "Your Friend, Nate Bargatze". Super family friendly, very funny, good time for all. Want a bit about a donkey? Covered. Pilgrims? In there.

Tis the season.

#HorrorSky Secret Santa (2018) is a surprisingly satisfying watch. Indie DYI comedy / horror about a dysfunctional family coming together for Xmas dinner but well drawn characters and dynamics elevate it. Gives strong #YoureNext vibes.

I’ve got a couple great loves, 1 of which is #TheCure. Robert’s voice just makes me happy. This book by founding member Lol Tolhurst was such a beautiful surprise. I went in knowing little 2 nothing of him but was immediately drawn 2 his thoughtful & elegant writing. Great book for any Cure fan.

I once saw Paul Reubens at a tiny underground Lucha libre show in Echo Park. He was directed to the DIYest of VIP sections which was really just a corner w/ a rope separating him. He wasn't there to host or MC, just to watch like the rest of us. He was cool & friendly to anyone who approached. RIP.
