Right? I was thinking about that earlier. I and II got multiple rereleases but they always left out III. I think we definitely would have gotten an official English release sooner if they had did III along side them. It’s a shame

Not counting the DS remake of course, but it’s still a shame a version if the original took so long. The game has a lot of heart.

I think XIV has sort of ruined the battle theme of this game though, since I associate it with “silly” battles now.

It wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t pause the game and force you to watch him talk every single time. And then everything he says has a “that could have been an email” feeling to it.

It just feels weird since FFXIII doesn’t feel that old, even though it came out in 2009. So part of me is like “it doesn’t need a rerelease, it’s not old!”
