So! Hello to any new follows. I'm a game dev / writer / artist / person who is making many games, but this is the one I'm hoping to release next. It's called TOPL; and its a couch-multiplayer physics battler where you put your face on a robot and knock each other down
Accomplishments? Well I have been doing some time travelling, actually. Been steadily making my way to the future at a rate of 24 hours per day, for some time now

So genuine question for other indie Devs: if you were making a fan project on the side, that may involve copyright IP (not for profit of course), would you devlog / promote it on a separate social to your indie work, to make it clear it's non-commercial?

Okay but I think we can all agree that Kirk was at least an enabler of racism.
I mean McCoy was constantly calling Spock "you green blooded SOB" etc and Kirk didn't do shit about it.

I don't really see anybody *celebrating* the death of Charlie Kirk; just a lot of people moving on, like it was some asshole at the zoo who was tormenting the lions then accidentally fell in and got eaten. "Oh well."

Social media rarely enriches my life and mostly exists as a huge pointless time sink, but today on here I learned the term "Wankpanzer" referring to a Cybertruck, and —honestly, I have significantly fewer regrets

Don't *ignore* the news but don't let the despair consume you. If you find comfort in lighter things, embrace it. You can't individually fix problems of a certain size, but burning your brain out with sadness isn't going to help anyone. Do what you can, but take care of yourself. We need you.

I don't have the studies to prove it, but I suspect any increase in things like autism and food intolerance in last 50+ years is due to lower infant mortality; such things used to be much harder to manage / less aware of, likely worsening one's chances of making the difficult trip to adulthood.
