You know, in spite of how popular it is to call something a life hack, I have only ever encountered 2 things that I actually consider life hacks.
1) When the dishwasher is done, shake any standing water off, and leave the door open a crack
2) Mix instant coffee in some cold water before adding hot

I love how some combinations of settings make Outlook shit the bed. I use the thing where emails don't automatically get marked read when I open them.
Someone emailed me and they have read receipts turned on.
When I right click "mark as read" Outlook locks up for about a minute.
