Wow. It's insane to me that you were able to make this alone in 48 hours. Did you make all assets for it as well in that timespan?

Game devs who learned game dev with Godot joining big boys and convincing them to contribute features relevant to them is how Godot actually gets into major pipelines. Most Godot contributors today are smaller indie devs who have different needs than big studios.

Thanks for clarifying! I vaguely remembered incorrectly then. 😅

That's so cool!

CSoftproducts are only using Godot 3 for Psycho Patrol R because they developed Cruelty Squad with it and have a custom toolset made specifically for it. I vaguely remember them writing that they would like to work with Godot 4 but it would be too much of a hassle to port everything.

No worries. Godot 4.5 Dev 1 alsor released only two weeks after Godot 4.4 was out. You have approximately 6 months to try out 4.5 before 4.6 Stable is out. 😅

Bevy is really cool but be aware that it's still heavily in development and there are frequent API changes. Also no editor or scene format yet so there will be a lot of code to handle stuff you could do in a couple of clicks in Godot. But it's fun to play with ECS for sure!

Well... yeah. There was also just a two weeks gap between 4.4 and 4.5 Dev 1. It will still take around 6 months for 4.6 to be released as stable.

It's possible that some folders have been marked as exceptions so .exe files might still open from those. If you run secpol.msc from Windows+R prompt and then look into Software Restriction Policies → Additional Rules then in Path Rules there could be some accessible folders listed.

It's just paracetamol so we can stock on it cheaper from local sources!

Not really. It's not a strict sandbox. You can still infect Wine directories and if the malware was more clever it could definitely spread to the Linux subsystem.

I can very much appreciate a good taste. Unfortunately they go for €6-8k and that's a bit much for a crappy old Felicia. 😅

Yep. They are all on Thingiverse. 😁

I think GIT LFS was sort of created for this exact reason.

There actually is a way to mute reposts. It's called the OnlyPosts feed. That one shows only stuff people you follow post and skips their reposts. I use it all the time.
