I'm a semi-retired geologist and planning consultant with too many hobbies, including writing stories for Literotica. My interests tend to wander from obsession to obsession.
Is there interest in more advanced #Sudoku? This one should challenge most people. There's no sense in timing this puzzle, graded at 7.2 on SudokuWiki's scale to 10. I'll add information in the alt text.

I haven't replied with a puzzle for a while. I've been working on my ability to produce harder puzzles.

This isn't a hard puzzle. It should be slightly more difficult than R431. It started quickly then took some time to clean up.

This one is similar to the NYT "Hard" #Sudoku in difficulty. It was a slow starter and took me about 25 minutes.

Here's one. It took me 26:25, but it shouldn't be that hard. I took twenty minutes doing not much, and solved it in six.

That was a quick one. If you need another to fill some time, try this. #Sudoku

Here's another one for late-night puzzling. As before, details in the alt text.

Try this one in your spare time. It's one I generated. Some details in the alt text.

Here's a challenge. I produced this #Sudoku myself. I solved it in thirty five minutes. You should beat my time.

It looks like there are other #Amaryllis keepers out there! I'm putting mine away for a rest right now. I'll bring them out on Christmas day. I have six varieties in eight pots, but some repotting is called for.

Are there any Amaryllis keepers here? 🌱

I'm putting mine away, to be brought out at Christmas. I started 25 years ago with an Apple Blossom I still have. This is two Cybisters (Emerald and Bogata), Nagano, and Amigo.

Here's mine, though they won't be planted until late next month.
Last year's was a success, but something went wrong in curing, and the cloves are drying.

I found this little guy peeking out from under the edge of the porch. I've never grown Gazania, but someone upwind from me has. #gardening

It feels like mid-summer again. #Gardening.
The melons are from the second crop of a Charentais-type melon. There are nine more on the vine that already produced seven. For the last day of summer I brought in two melons, 27 New Mexico chiles, a pound of jalapenos and four tomatoes.

Not bad for the day before the equinox. The melons are from the second crop of a charentais-type canteloupe. There are nine more on the vine.
