It’s one thing for anti-vax nonsense to ruin our herd immunity by spreading their disinformation. But the escalation to taking away our choice to vaccinate ourselves and our families is infuriating. The development of the COVID vaccine was miraculous, we’ve fallen so far so fast.

The local town moms Facebook page always knows what's going on around town. One time, they helped locate a kid who got lost during the town fireworks show. The kid, who didn't know her mom's name or number, found a random woman who scrolled through the images in the group until she ID'd her mom.

We have a president who thinks culture peaked in 1982, and he's determined to bring it all back.

I attended a preliminary “AI Community of Practice” at my work. As people were sharing their use cases, I said “you all know we can’t use this for anything the requires factual accuracy, right?” Why did this seemed like news to everyone?

In broad strokes, it seems like Republicans fielded candidates on the WFP line as a back door to the ballot, but then couldn't quite commit to the bit? This screams dysfunction.

Considering how many of my would-be-protesting friends were at soccer, baseball, or hockey games with their kids today, I think we could call this a 3.5%.
I wonder if the military parade conscripted participants outnumbered the voluntary attendees.
