Since it’s been decades you’re surely insisting it’s just as easy to buy a gun as it was in 1980
November 29, 2025 at 8:56 PM
Have we considered making it illegal to kill people?
November 29, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Well that’s because assault rifles have already been banned for nearly 40 years.
November 29, 2025 at 3:25 PM
Then it wasn’t an assault rifle. Learn what you’re taking about before speaking.
November 29, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Only if it was made pre 1986, you get a tax stamp and are willing to spend over 10,000 dollars
November 29, 2025 at 2:43 PM
So you never actually looked at the bill?
November 29, 2025 at 2:32 PM
If you really were you’d know they’ve been banned for almost 40 years
November 29, 2025 at 6:47 AM
I don’t know “because the government and gun control orgs told me so” isn’t the best answer

Answer the question
November 28, 2025 at 6:55 PM
Those are features. Not firearms.
What about those features makes something more dangerous and should be banned?
November 28, 2025 at 6:48 PM
It’s a joke I use actual Definitions and not buzzwords that prey on peoples ignorance of guns?
November 28, 2025 at 6:34 PM
Cool Copy and paste. Still a made up buzzword.
November 28, 2025 at 6:31 PM
And what about any of that makes them more dangerous?
November 28, 2025 at 6:30 PM
Not enough to ban something fictional
November 28, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Assault rifles are machine guns.
Magazines for machine guns aren’t banned nor should they be. Rifles only account for 500 deaths a year.
November 28, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Machine guns are a real thing.
“Assault weapons” aren’t
November 28, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Doesn’t change that one’s real and the others a made up buzzword. “High capacity” magazines fit that bill too
November 28, 2025 at 6:07 PM
Weird. New Hampshire still appears to be in the US.
You must be confusing the real term “assault rifles” with the made up term “assault weapon”
November 28, 2025 at 6:02 PM
Assault rifles were permanently banned under the FOPA of 1986. The hughes amendment to be more specific
November 28, 2025 at 5:59 PM
Assault rifles have been federally banned since 1986
November 28, 2025 at 5:55 PM
It was already illegal for the shooter to possess a gun. What do you want to do make it double illegal?
November 28, 2025 at 5:53 PM
No
November 28, 2025 at 5:52 PM
Given that assault rifles are banned? I doubt it
November 28, 2025 at 5:49 PM
Good thing assault rifles are already banned
November 28, 2025 at 5:48 PM
Cool story. Still doesn’t change that it’s only gotten harder to buy a gun
