Friendly neighborhood cryptid haunting the skyline. Just an eldritch horror doing my level best to be helpful. Pronouns: Ominous they/them.

I'm looking for people for a Thing, so feel free to repost.

Please hit like if you are that rare gamer like me who actually enjoys listening all the way to the end of voiced game dialogue and seeking out new bits of in-game lore to read like codex entries, in-game books, etc.

One of my favorite SCP's is an alien robot they'd found that had been damaged, it no longer has an interior monologue and instead shouts its thoughts at all times.

The robot is constantly planning and plotting on escaping and killing everyone but it's helplessly unable to shut the fuck up.
Pluribus is a really wonderful PSA about the dangers of opening file attachments from unknown senders.

Every day or two, I do a search of the #Dispatch tag to see what interesting things people have to say about the game currently obsessing me, and it's mostly a lot of…art.

Which is perfectly understandable, but also I do want words, please!
I’ve noticed over the years that “mid” is favored by the low kind of reviewer. Tend to be nasty, entitled bummers.

Listen, if there is nothing else you take away from Frankenstein, just know that any and all depictions of the creature as attractive is a direct product of Victor being very particular about his vision
I’m led to believe this Floridian lake is the most circular lake. It’s great, but it also feels like we could do better.
Honestly, that crow is my favorite hater
Crows hold MEAN grudges. I once had a crow in town who would attack me on sight, mistaking me for someone who’d wronged it.

(Got one of those faces, I guess.)
I wish Peter Falk had guest-starred on an episode of Star Trek: Voyager opposite Mrs. Columbo herself. The goofy episodes were always the best.
I’m frustrated that cities don’t have assigned color palettes, à la the original Pokémon games.

San Francisco has to be either gold or International Orange like the Golden Gate Bridge, but what one specific hue is Los Angeles? Chicago? New York City?

Imagine being so unloveable that not even billions and billions of dollars can buy you an experience that the poorest people on earth have had.
I know people think Musk only bought Twitter to help the rise of fascism.

While that’s important, I still think it’s secondary to his primary goal, which was to own the place where his fans praise him.

With AI, Musk’s use of the platform for love and validation is only getting more transparent.
The dissonance between the two interpretations of this sentence is a delightful gift!

Axios tried to bust James Talarico for following adult content creators on Instagram and I'm genuinely impressed by his campaign's response
The three stages of watching Guillermo del Toro’s #Frankenstein (2025):

1. Was that milk…?
2. What’s with all the milk?
3. Oh. Right. Little on the nose.

love the addition the frankenstein lore where victor drinks a big frosty glass of milk in an extremely off-putting way. a window into his twisted mind
I wish there were recommendation/rating platforms that only had "pluses", tags to help people find things that tick their individual boxes.

I feel like rating systems (1–5, 1–10) aren't very productive or healthy lenses to look at media.
