Yessssss. Saw them in 2000 here in Japan at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. Still remember it fondly. When they started, I was in the middle of the crowd, which surged and compacted. I distinctly remember thinking, “Oh. I’m not getting out of here until they finish so I might as well dance. And I did.”

Just randomly came across this Jeep about 100m from my house on the way back from a ride to take pics with my camera (Canon R10).

100%! Never, ever go before looking. One of those classic Japan contradictions: almost every single person who will stand at a crosswalk where no cars are coming and wait for the green signal to cross will also without the slightest hesitation run a red light in their car 100% of the time.

I was just hearing gusts outside right now and thinking, That’s a bit breezy. Is this the haru kaze that I thought was meant to arrive yesterday? I didn’t really notice any wind around town myself.
