The main takeaway here is that Pierre Marcel Poilievre is 100% willing and able to use the notwithstanding clause to override anything he disagrees with even if it cancels out our charter rights.
And that should fucking terrify everyone.

Can we please stop with the PR misinformation? Prop Rep was debated in parliament & was a mess. Trudeau wanted the parties to be in agreement otherwise he’d be accused of changing voting laws by fiat. The NDP, Cons & Greens were all a part of what crashed implementing electoral changes.
