An amazingly intricate, large paper dragon. It is red, has a pointed face, six horns, and appears to be walking with it's wings up.

Sef is tasked by the local royal family to use his magic to find their missing prince. There's just one problem: Sef doesn't actually *have* any magic, and if anyone discovers he's a fraud, he'll be executed. This is fine.

Mine's not a script, but I'll play if I'm allowed. I had a lot of fun with the dialogue in this one. Every time my MC answered the phone he did it in a new inappropriate way.
Text reading: He tossed and I mostly caught it. I hit the “hold” button. “Sons of Liberty, McCarthy speaking. If my assistant could have handled this, he’s fired.” “Dale?” Shit. Now I knew why he’d been grinning. “Mom?” “Does your boss know you answer the phone like that?” Even with a hundred miles separating us it felt like being asked if my homework was finished and I’d remembered to take out the trash. “Yes, mom. He does. Now’s really not a good time.” Technically true on both counts. Having had the mental acuity of a brain-damaged albatross the day before meant I still had an entire stack of collateral damage reports to be filed by Friday. “And if you answered your phone I’d call you tonight when you get off. Don’t blame me if this is the only way I can get ahold of you.”
