Utterly enthralling cinema. A film that depicts the importance and difficulty of broadcast journalism.
On a side note though- couldn’t get over how like in looks and performance Peter Sarsgaard reminded me of the great Jack Lemmon.

Sorry, that is such a myopic parochial view of the meaning of the Oscars.
It’s not only glitz, it is a celebration of so many people’s art and inspiration. Many of the crew, film makers, actors, directors etc, come from lands where the LA fires (as tragic as they are) pale to their actuality.
