There is a fairly high probability that when Trump says the tariffs are making “us” richer, he’s referring to himself. We aren’t privy to his supposed negotiations, and he’s likely to be shaking down the countries with whom he’s talking.

Republicans aren’t merely anti-science; they’re anti-intelligence. For a generation, I’ve watched them nominate and elect an unending series of progressively dumber presidents. I thought GW Bush was as low as they could go. To which Republicans collectively said: “Hold my beer and watch this!”

Trump’s weekly golf excursions should be treated the same as for any other employee: federal or private. All expenses should be paid by Trump: airfare, food, lodging, entertainment, and security. If there’s a legitimate business reason for any trip, he can deduct the expenses on his fed. tax return.

Isn’t this (from a “Raw Story” article) and all the CEO pilgrimages to Mar-a-Lago with massive campaign contributions in hand, clear cut examples of quid pro quo arrangements? This is like AZScam on steroids. Every CEO & Trump should be prosecuted for offering and accepting a bribe, respectively.
