I just finished Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I started out reading the actual book not knowing what to think, then switched to the audiobook and fell in love. I felt the characters’ pain. Felt their love and their grief. I sometimes got chills. You’ve done it again, Taylor!

Sometimes you use a pen that turns out to write way better than you thought it would and oh man that’s the good stuff

I know Chumbawumba are hard but when they refer to beer as "a lager drink" it's always given me "Niles Crane in a biker bar" vibes.

Actually this IS my circus but I have no idea whose monkeys those are so needless to say I’m concerned

I will never cease to be amazed by books. Seriously. Just think about it; thousands of people read the same book, but in everyone’s brain’s the characters look different, the setting changes etc. We are all reading the same thing, but it's so unique to each of us.
That is a beautiful thing.

All I want is a cottage in the Scottish Highlands, a freshly-fallen snow, a crackling fire, a riveting mystery novel, a kettle on the stove, and a healthy supply of emotional support scones.

I just finished Everyone Here is Lying by Shari Lapena and I thought I’d tell all of you on BlueSky about it. It’s a really good book! Highly recommended! Are there other Shari Lapena fans out there?
