Never trust a big butt and a smile.
I read this as a tween and the raunchy puppet show is still burned in my brain well into middle age.

In the last 72 hours, I think we’ve seen the “Escape” episode 6 times? (And the meta gets meta because I, too, could use an escape to a hammock with drinks in coconuts…)

I would watch the hell out of this. Also, dying for a limited series about the guy who kidnapped his sons, took them on the Titanic, got them on a lifeboat, drowned, and then the kids’ mother learns about all of it IN THE NEWSPAPER.

Just texted this to my husband, and the circle remains unbroken.

When I lived there, it was only white asparagus. Like the departed soul of a vegetable captured in a jar. How I longed for a salad.

Thank you for calling this out so eloquently and treating it with the seriousness it deserves. This feels like a symptom of the broader intolerance for vulnerable populations that has been mounting over the past several years and portends dark things to come. Good on you and The Pom (love it!).

Have you read _Tuesday Mooney Talks with Ghosts_ by Kate Racculia? (Not new but sheer delight! Like _The Westing Game_ for grownups!)

A friend sings “ooooooh ooooooh oooooh” a la Bohemian Rhapsody after every “mama,” and it’s brought joy and chaos in equal measure when I’ve tried it.

San Juans, especially Orcas Island! (Book your ferry trips way in advance!) If that feels too far (2 hour drive from Seattle to Anacortes, hour-ish ferry trip), you can do a shorter ferry trip to Bainbridge and Whidbey Islands as day trips that are fun, too.
