I hear you and I'm not sure a semester course is going to cut it especially with the amount of misinformation that is everywhere. I also believe that we need local and state government coursework since there seems to be misunderstanding what each level of government is responsible for.

The Great Chicago Fire was definitely part of this family's story. Now I need to determine if they were in Chicago during the fire, or if they returned shortly after. Most of the family listed their occupation as "carpenter" so they most definitely were part of the rebuild. Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the reply! While I find it very interesting that families traveled back and forth, it adds a bit more work to my research plan. If only there were records of their travels! And thanks for their marriage date. While I did have it, it's always nice to have another researcher confirm.

At my first library job, right out of high school, my boss created a spine label template to ensure all labels were placed equal distance from the shelf.
