This administration’s disregard for science and reality is a huge travesty we will feel for generations.
This celebrated US dominance in science is coming to end because we’ve chosen to gut funding.

I’ll take a glimmer of good news. What else have you got out there? My family is getting ready to celebrate my dad’s 90th. And he’s awesome. Now you.
Your calls and letters to your members of Congress work!
@abcbirds.bsky.social just reported that their engagement and your actions restored these programs in the FY26 Appropriations Bill: Great Lakes Restoration Initiative ($368 million); North American Wetlands Conservation Fund ($49 million)...

So proud of the immigrants I descend from and at the same time appreciate the immigrants who are so vital to our country today - they often do the hard labor many Americans aren’t willing to do and yes they pay taxes without the benefits. See how easy that was?
Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.

Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this.

Do not.

If you’re a Christian and you’re still supporting this you’ve lost your mind. You’re not gonna get a job because of what they’re doing. Absolute brutality.”

He got off that bus and said he can grab em by the p*ssy and get away with it because he’s a (delusional) star and much of America was “cool cool” and voted him to be our leader twice. And now he’s doing the same to the whole country. Still “cool cool?” #shouldhavebeenenough

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

Ok let’s brainstorm - how do we honor all the people of color and women who have been removed from public websites!? Make a new website? I’m so over getting mad and feeling powerless as all this bullshit rains down.

Just restating the simple point: President lacks the constitutional authority to close a department created by Congress. Full stop. Both the creation and on-going funding of these Depts are LAWS not suggestions. This is criminal conduct. www.wsj.com/politics/pol... via @WSJ

Unconstitutional. Appropriations bills are laws. If the president is not bound by them, he can make laws by fiat and is acting like a dictator. No Democrat can vote for any appropriations or debt ceiling bill while this is happening.

THE US CYBERSECURITY SHIELD HAS BEEN TURNED OFF FOR RUSSIA
Let’s be clear about this, last week the United States on orders from SecDef Hegseth, has ceased monitoring, identifying, tracking, preventing or alerting anyone to Russian cyber attacks. No activity at all is permitted.

Going to reread this every week for the next four years. I’m tired already but not speaking up in every way you can to this dumpster fire of so-called governing isn’t an option. This is my kind of woke.

This is huge….the OPM cannot fire employees within another agency. Who is going to enforce this?? We really are relying upon the judicial bench to stand strong and defend the law.
Federal Judge William Alsup

“The Office of Personnel Management does not have any authority whatsoever under any statute in the history of the universe, to hire and fire employees within another agency..It can hire its own employees..Can fire them. But it cannot..direct some other agency to do so”
