Utter madness 🤦🏻 we have a position issue in that we bought a really tall no.10 or 2nd striker for resolving the 'low block' issue we had last year and a striker who has been out since the start and therefore we lack a true pacey finisher. Howe out calls are baffling given the predicament

Not sure how any of the Italian teams would ever be able to afford him or the wages he'd demand after leaving us.
He will eventually leave, we all know it, but he'll go for big money and our PSR power will be much better for it, evening I midfield won't.

We've done well to date and probably as good as we realistically could have hoped. My concern (with current away league form) is that we only have one home #UCL game left and 3 away. Something will need to change. As an outlet i believe that's a fit Lewis Hall.

Was saying the same. He's been out months, missed pre-season, returns in a champions league game and just oozes class. How quick were his feet? And the intricate play down the left increased 10 fold when he came on. Eddie will eventually just have to choose between BDB and Sven

Though Thiaw looks good still

🤣 I'll have to give you that today

Gibside is covered in them. Hanging around every fence stake going 🤷🏻‍♂️

Though I agree Xavi should be given the time and byvno means judged at thia stage. A young player with obvious talent, but sometimes we forget what a leap it is from other leagues and indeed international football in the main, to the Prmier league. I'm sure he'll be a great asset

😆😆.... imagine that world. Or spending £130m on a striker with tendons made of string? Not in this world mate 😁

..... more pace than I expected too.
I was disappointed with Xavi. His emergence on the continent and international scene had raised my expectations. Thought he was wasteful against a weakened nufc midfield, though granted had Tonali in there.

I always feel Bergvall to be your greatest threat, though those of you that watch Spurs week in, week out may say otherwise. His potential looks sky high

Not wishing to stir up on a Spurs thread but as good as Ramsdale played to suggest any player on the pitch was even close to Sandro Tonali is a travesty. This was him recovering from a viral infection. Tonali simply was and is different level.

Not true. Good player but no Botman or Malik Thiaw.

Fair enough John. Though conversely, I felt Fulham were fairly poor, gave Pope very little to do and didn't deserve anything from the game either. I believe the less poor team won on the day. Not sure why you're pushing for unfollows. Discussions on here are usually healthy?

To be fair, we've also had to deal with x3 UCL games, no striker initially and still missing the most natural no.9 in the squad.

Notts Forest? 😄😄 incoming hate.....
October 18, 2025 at 8:58 PM
Can we all agree that the Europa League is also a shadow of its former self since the champions league teams don't drop down into anymore. Genuinely tougher to win the English league Cup.... p.s don't give a shit about spurs or forest. Just sick of europa been viewed as if same as previous seasons

Gordon utilised his cutting in to score well tonight. Granted against poor opposition. However, he also put some good balls in with both feet and ran to cross from the byline with his left several times. This is a modern day inverted winger well coached by Eddie Howe
October 14, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Fair enough, if not a little exaggerated 😄 Hes good enough to thread channels cutting in, but shouldn't forget going down the outside even if his delivery is worse there, if for nothing else to keep defenders guessing.
October 9, 2025 at 8:54 PM
He's right footed (obvs). Seems a natural thing to do and isn't either shoot or slip a ball through. Natural part of an inverted wingers role

Had begun to believe it was in the rules for keepers to kick it out into the stands at about the half way line...
Tbf Pope looked sharp so far this season. We've 2 cracking players between the posts now
