Excited to support the next generation of leaders at the Military Academy Information Night! Thank you to all the academies and representatives for sharing valuable guidance and resources. Our young leaders have a bright future ahead, and I’m proud to stand with them every step of the way!

Veterans from our community came together to share their powerful stories of service with students at Chaffey High School. We’re deeply grateful for their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to our freedom. May their experiences continue to inspire the next generation of leaders.

Today, I joined my colleagues from the Democratic Women’s Caucus to stand against this attack on working-class Americans. We will not let partisan games decide who gets care, who sees a doctor, or who can afford medication.

Adelita, today you make history as the first Latina representing AZ and the 218th signature to demand the Epstein files.

Your leadership is empowering, and I’m proud to stand with you as we work to restore Congress to its true purpose and serve the American people as intended.

Republicans created this health care crisis.

House Democrats are here fighting to fix it, lower costs, and protect every American’s access to quality, affordable care.
November 12, 2025 at 11:27 PM
I’m back in Washington to fight for your health care because every family deserves access to affordable, quality care.

Republicans are trying to strip away coverage and hike costs, but I won’t back down.

📞 Call your representatives at (202) 224-3121 and tell them: Hands off our health care.

I was honored to join the Pomona community for the first-ever Veterans Day Ceremony. Thank you to the City of Pomona and all the community partners who made this celebration possible. May we continue to honor our veterans every day through action, gratitude, and remembrance.

For over forty days, House Republicans have chosen chaos over doing their jobs, hurting working families in the process. I refuse to stand by. I oppose the Senate bill.

From Pomona to Fontana and everywhere in between, it was great to see so many in our community come out to honor the veterans who have served our nation with courage and sacrifice. Thank you to every veteran for all you’ve given. 🇺🇸

Today, we honor and thank all the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces. Your sacrifice, courage, and dedication protect our freedoms every day. We are forever grateful for your service.

It was great to be in Claremont for a senior town hall. Claremont seniors know exactly what’s at stake as GOP cuts threaten the care so many rely on. Grateful to everyone who showed up, asked questions, and spoke up for their community.

Serving alongside Nancy Pelosi has been one of the greatest honors of my time in Congress. She broke barriers, led with strength and grace, and never stopped fighting for working families.

Madam Speaker, thank you for showing all of us what real leadership looks like.

By refusing to release food assistance, Trump is once again funding welfare for billionaires, turning his back on hungry families.

Parents are skipping meals so their kids can eat, and seniors are stretching a can of soup for days. Trump is choosing hunger over humanity.

Today, I joined my Inland Empire colleagues at a local food bank to shine a light on the Trump Administration blocking SNAP benefits for millions of families. No one should go hungry, and I will keep fighting until every family gets the food they deserve. #SNAP #InlandEmpire

While millions went hungry, Trump threw a ‘Great Gatsby’ party at Mar‑a‑Lago, with half-naked women dancing for billionaires.

Families in the Inland Empire and across the country don’t need parties. They need food, dignity, and leaders who put people first.

Our community gathered in candlelight to honor Deputy Andrew Nuñez, standing shoulder to shoulder with his family as we remembered his service and sacrifice. I’m grateful to every neighbor who came out to lift them up with love, strength, and support.

There must be a full, transparent investigation with immediate updates. DHS statements can’t be taken at face value. The public deserves to see the body-camera footage, security footage, and all witness accounts. Accountability isn’t optional; it’s demanded.

Republicans might have shut down the government, but I’m still opening the Capitol to my constituents. Always a good day to welcome folks to their House!

#TeamTorres had a great time joining in on the spooky fun at the Eastvale Collective Market! 🎃 Vendors served up delicious food, shared amazing artisan crafts, and handed out candy to all the trick-or-treaters.

Proud to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Montclair’s After-School Program and their “Lights On Afterschool” Showcase.

Their space-themed projects prove just how bright our students’ futures are. Keep dreaming and reaching for the stars! 🚀✨

I joined seniors at the Montclair Senior Center for a luncheon town hall to discuss how potential health care cuts and the ongoing shutdown are impacting our community. Hearing directly from constituents helps me bring your voices to DC as I fight to protect essential programs.
