In all the years since Metroid Prime 3, I can’t recall hearing anything which sounded as much like #MetroidPrime music as the Blasted Steps track in #Silksong.

Hey Canada. We need to talk.

I know we just had an election in which we felt great about basically showing Trump the middle finger. That was grand.

But Carney is ratcheting a massive deficit and is poised to cut in gvt programs — not make the rich pay.

Poilievre's spectre looms. It ain’t over.

He finally got his revenge against the man who asked him if he was up past his jail time.

Now it's up to us to ask why he's terrified to release #TheEPSTEIN_PedoFiles.

Maybe growing up in the NES era gave me the utterly paranoid, frenzied playstyle needed to enjoy Silksong without wailing on about its difficulty? I mean, it IS a hard game but… that’s part of the charm, no?

I wish we would celebrate Charlie Kirk’s words upon his death. Somehow his disciples take offense to that. And that tells you all you need to know about Charlie Kirk.

Becoming increasingly clear we’re gonna have to build a parallel infrastructure for all the media we really love. The reason all of this is happening under the color of law is hyperconsolidation, dissent being traded straight up for merger approval, or fear of harassment.

Though countless takes are bound to come out of current events, let’s not forget the most valuable lesson of this American catastrophe: there’s a language which led to this censorship. And tolerant as we want to be, tolerance of some rhetoric threatens tolerance itself. It shall not stand.

I don’t know if all this talk of Switch 2 performing horribly now that launch is behind us are true, but Nintendo would deserve this fate. SW2 has been underwhelming, save for Bananza, and everything in their latest Direct was overpriced.

I enjoyed my time with the Direct, but…
• Galaxy 1+2 is way too expensive
• DKB DLC is a game mode alien to DK and shafts K Rool & Krew in favor of… more Void Kong?
• Yoshi skirts ever younger, it seems
• MP4 seems to have lotsa really empty pockets
• Mandatory VB accessory?!

They’re lost.

Political violence is always sickening, and I don’t think anyone could or should condone Charlie Kirk’s murder.

That being said, the man advocated a hateful, spiteful rhetoric and was a WH lapdog on even the Epstein stuff. Don’t ask me to care about him or his death.

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

Seriously, nobody tell Nintendo this, but I would have seriously laid down Mario Kart World’s full retail price for a physical boxed set of just its soundtrack.

That thing is an INCREDIBLE work of art. Some real crunchy jazz in there.

Today, Nintendo, the same company sitting on the mind-melting 200+ tracks Mario Kart World OST, published the soundtrack to Clubhouse Games on its music app.

Clubhouse Games.

The Universe is chaos and this is Exhibit A.

So in a shocking twist, I will be purchasing a #Switch2 on launch, mostly out of fear that its price will rise later on, much like the PS5 and XS* did.

But ya know what I’ll also do to an unprecedented extent? Refuse to buy games. Local library here I come.

So… who had "Quebec showing up for the Liberals while Ontario swings Conservative" on their bingo card? Because I sure as hell didn’t.

This has been, and still is, one of the most topsy-turvy Canadian election nights I’ve ever lived through. What a nail biter.

Just as chilling as the last post I shared from that blog.
“It may be confusing to hear that COVID is increasing heart attacks and strokes if you’ve only heard from public health guidance that SARS-COV-2 is a respiratory virus. In fact, COVID is highly vascular, attacking the blood vessels”

I always had low BP but am now seriously hypertensive post-COVID.
Worked hard on this, and I hope it will be a useful resource for many.
