I didnt look at the toes! The thing i did wonder about was the sharpness of the bill, but I don't know enough woodcreepers. The fact it seems out of focus for the tail end adds to the realism. AI is learning fast.

It does represent the place very well, but the composition also leads you in. It makes you want to go on a journey into this landscape, which is as much a part of the story as the owls are. I love that cover.

Sadly, I prefer the US version. However, i much preferred the cover style and font of Owls of the Eastern Ice over both of these. That drew you in organically with a well chosen scenery shot, it was gorgeous. These new ones are more 'in your face'. I'll still get it though 🙂
