Seriously. I just hope one day we can see all these traitors in prison. Buuuuut ….
October 28, 2025 at 8:51 PM
Lovely. What a way to engage in dialogue, by calling someone a white supremacist 🙄
October 28, 2025 at 7:10 PM
💯

“The whites”? Ok
October 28, 2025 at 7:03 PM
There may be. And the election is far off. We’ll have a much better sense of things come April and May 2026. I’m glad he’s not dropping out.
October 28, 2025 at 6:58 PM
She’s fine. She’s done a pretty good job as governor. I used to work with her in the private sector. I don’t personally have anything against Janet Mills. I just do not personally think she can beat Collins (in part bc of age and lack of charisma).
October 28, 2025 at 6:56 PM
Cool. Clearly you’re also one of those who have not done your research on Platner.
October 28, 2025 at 6:53 PM
Have you read the Jacobin article? It is a deep dive into Platner’s Reddit. It generally reflects someone with pretty consistent views on the things that are important to me. He’s a growing, changing person. I don’t know what else to tell you.
October 28, 2025 at 6:45 PM
Have you all read the Jacobin article? Are you Maine voters?
October 28, 2025 at 6:38 PM
I fully agree that the bottom line goal is beating Collins. I don’t think Mills has a chance in hell of unseating her. She literally praised Collins a month ago. Voters aren’t looking for more of the same.

Also I’ve seen polls showing Platner with a commanding lead over Mills.
October 28, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Hey if you think Mills can beat Collins by all means, vote for her in the primary. I personally think that’s a bad decision but (for now at least) we’re still living in a Democracy.

And again l’ll ask, did you read the Jacobin report bc that pretty much shows that he’s no Trump.
October 28, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Trump didn’t say anything that I wanted or needed to hear. Why would you say that?

Did you read the Jacobin article?
October 28, 2025 at 6:22 PM
Agreed. And I am definitely worried about being burned by some previously unknown “shiny new” politician. But from everything I’ve read and heard he still feels like the real deal. I’ll keep doing research. June is far off.

But Mills? Jordan Wood? Are these folks really going to beat Collins?
October 28, 2025 at 5:42 PM
💯 Yup. It’s frustrating as hell. But I don’t think it’s just establishment Dems. I’m getting the sense (maybe wrongly) that there are some progressives/leftists who drew the line at his tattoo

Thankfully the sense I get in Maine is that voters are taking the time to actually get to know him

I guess someone has me blocked. :)

What was the original post you’re responding to? I cannot read it — maybe someone blocked me?

The election isn’t until June, but unless some other shit comes out, he’s got my vote.

The dude’s neither a Nazi nor stupid.

You’re Being Lied to About Graham Platner
We read Graham Platner’s whole Reddit archive. The vilification of the Maine candidate for Senate doesn’t square with what he actually wrote in his posts.
