A couple of years back, I always defaulted to recursive function and functional style programming for aoc. Now I mix it up with more loops/counter/caches and I like where things are going. I guess my metaphorical toolkit is expanding !

jsr.io/@seyofori/pi... looks nice. I like the simple implementation but the type-checking is not working unfortunately.

Definitely b) ! For my work a) is rarely a consideration (as goes for c) ). Then d) should be think about… but i never know what scaling will mean until it happens.
