To those who still think Covid is over—wake up!

2024: The Loss of Possibilities

“I went for long walks until they became shorter and shorter. I rode my bike until I could no longer climb stairs. I went shopping until I could no longer leave my apartment.”

One young girl's story was particularly heartbreaking:

“Imagine you're finally back on a school trip after three years of pandemic. One of your classmates has Covid, and half the class catches it.
Everyone returns to school after two weeks—except you.”

2023: The Hidden Epidemic

„The WHO estimates that over 400 million people suffer from Long Covid worldwide. And yet, the response continued to move at a glacial pace, leaving more and more people feeling neglected, isolated and abandoned.“

2022: The Cover-Up Begins

The world declared the pandemic "over."

2021: A Name Without Action

Doctors often refused care unless conventional lab tests showed something "abnormal."

One early sufferer shared:

. @BerlinBuyers founder Sophie reflected on five years of the pandemic, showing how the crisis has worsened while political responses have become increasingly inadequate.

Stories from each year were read aloud—either by those affected or on their behalf.

Dark times lie ahead, and what hurts most is the lack of support for a basic human demand: the right to bodily autonomy, which includes the right to maintain one's own health and not be harmed against one's will.

Thanks everyone for coming to the @berlin-buyers-club.bsky.social demo.

We are facing a data blackout, increasing anti-science sentiment and growing hostility towards the vulnerable.

Health Minister @Karl_Lauterbach has taken away every single tool we had to navigate the ongoing #SARSCoV2 pandemic.
Mandatory masks, PCR tests, Paxlovid, quarantine of the sick: all gone.
But shit doesn’t lie: wastewater monitoring shows what they’re desperately trying to hide.

It felt strange to be protesting outside a federal building just days after the collapse of the coalition government was announced.
Does anyone inside that building even feel responsible??!!

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold yesterday to protest with us against the planned termination of AMELAg, a coordinated, nationwide wastewater measurement system.
