So a scientist has designed a way of cutting something like 80% of the methane from cattle burps without harming the cattle. He mentioned that of course the ideal would be that we stop eating them, but that that wasn’t realistic. But it could be. Just stop subsidizing it.

I wonder if the transphobes will ever realize. Like, they (mostly, I hope) don’t even question the idea of homosexuality or interracial marriage, but the language they use about us is strikingly similar to pre-civil rights. And similarly fucking stupid. I just wonder if it’ll ever click for them.

Transphobia is rooted in ⚪️ supremacy. Ableism is rooted in ⚪️ supremacy. Misogyny, Christian nationalism, factory farming, redlining, the anti-vax movement, anti-abortion movements, and gerrymandering are all rooted in ⚪️ supremacy. And ⚪️ supremacy is rooted in capitalism. It’s all got to go.

Here’s a wild thing: Dutch men find deeper voices in women to be more attractive, while Japanese men feel the opposite. (🔗👇) Not all attraction, but some attraction is indeed culturally conditioned. Also, sorry if you’ve been missing out so far, but women with deep voices are definitely hot. 🔥💜🦄🌈
