My article on e-cargo biking as a social practice is now available open access online - it summarises the particular version of social practice theory I have developed over the years for understanding mobility, illustrated with 'ecb-ing' as a vaild alternative to driving, especially for families.

My article on e-cargo biking as a social practice is now available open access online - it summarises the particular version of social practice theory I have developed over the years for understanding mobility, illustrated with 'ecb-ing' as a vaild alternative to driving, especially for families.

I wrote this pre our national workshops on Financial Access to E-(cargo) bikes, thinking about Total Cost of Ownership vs cars, the second car as a particular target for replacement with such bikes, and the potential appeal of the leasing model of ownership (which is so addictive for car ownership).

I wrote this pre our national workshops on Financial Access to E-(cargo) bikes, thinking about Total Cost of Ownership vs cars, the second car as a particular target for replacement with such bikes, and the potential appeal of the leasing model of ownership (which is so addictive for car ownership).
