BBC News has a broken impartiality framework that results in promotion of far-right parties and views, inflating their popularity. Reply to my complaint about "Why one small town with very little immigration turned to Reform UK" promoted to 20m people because immigration was "probably" a reason(!)

Maybe Keir should demand the heads of major US news networks any time they imply Britain is on the brink of civil war or that we live under sharia law. Or does it not work both ways?

The BBC has bigger impartiality problems than its coverage of Trump
It is the BBC’s entire governance structure–rather than individual stories–that should cause most concern

The combo of walled-garden social media and AI replacing search means the death of the useful/open/free internet. Why would anyone create anything when it will just be summarized by AI and no one will ever see it? When social media deprecates outbound links, how will anyone find original content?

It would seem sensible not to board any flight that has any possibility of entering any USA controlled air space.
#GVerse Um. WTF???

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy: "Pilots need to stop depending on air traffic controllers. They need to suck it up and go with their gut feelings."

This is the stupidest and most dangerous administration in history.

At least one UK school ISP allows unfiltered Twitter images directly to pupils in schools. How does that sit with #KCSIE and the #OnlineSafetyAct ?
Remember: Elon Musk saw a man distributing child sexual abuse material on Twitter, and insisted that the team restore that man's account on the service, and begin *paying that person to be on the service*. The person who distributed the abuse material is still on there, and Musk follows him.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.
