One thing I don’t particularly like about Bluesky rn compared to…the other app, is being unable to schedule posts and save drafts.

Got some exciting news! I received an invitation to one of my colleges honor societies which includes 300k worth of scholarships. So I may or may not consider going back to school to become a vet tech. :3

Watching the Temple Grandin movie in my college class actually made me cry. If you don't know who she is I'd do some research, but the fact that she proved that autistic and other neurodivergent people can and are very successful people who have the ability to get PHDs hit home. #autism #adhd

I know my target audience isn't animal lovers, or those interested in; animal biology, procedures, etc. but expect a lot of random cool facts I learn during my studies because I learn some cool ass things at college. Tbf, if you are passionate about animals you’re LIKELY a good person in my book.

Update: We did not end up doing this supposed “gummy bear lab” I am severely disappointed -10/10
So, my veterinary assisting teacher places a like itinerary for the week of what we are planning to do that week. And I saw for today that “gummy bear lab” was on the board. Huh. I’ll update later on whatever the hell that is-

Yesterday was the anniversary of my grandma passing away. I was too busy with life and my first day of school to even really think about it. I wish she could see where I am today, what kind of a person I’ve become, and the hard work I’m putting in. It’s been 6 years. She would be so proud of me ❤️

First day of class in the books 6 more months to go! I’m so excited and actually not as tired as I thought I’d be. My teacher is so chill and you can tell she has a passion for what she’s doing. All of my classmates seem super nice and genuine as well. 😊
